KLA-Tencor Refurbishment Process
Every KLA-Tencor system we supply undergoes a stringent refurbishing process. The refurbishment is carried out by qualified KLA-Tencor factory trained technicians to the most exacting standards, as follows.

- Initial cleaning and preparation of used KLA-Tencor Equipment
- Initial functional and cosmetic inspection
- Disassembly of major components to sort and select acceptable parts/assemblies sent to repair areas for servicing, as applicable.

| Phase 2: Refurbishment: |

- Replace used Laser with Brand New Laser
- Replace used Power Supply with Brand New Power Supply
- Replace used PMTs with Brand New PMTs (if applicable)
- Clean Optics
- Align Optics
- Full and complete checkout of all electronic parts
- Full and complete checkout of all mechanical parts
- Lubricate mechanical parts, as necessary
- Calibrate system (using NIST traceable calibration wafers)
- Machine covers are cleaned, polished, or replaced, as needed

- System de-installed per KLA-Tencor factory procedures
- System transport locks installed; system prepared for shipment

KLA-Tencor Warranty
All ClassOne KLA-Tencor refurbished systems are supported with a 6 month warranty and specifications guarantee. This warranty applies to all KLA-Tencor equipment sold unless otherwise noted. In addition to the standard 6 month warranty offered on each system, we offer optional 12 month warranties as well a yearly service contracts. Systems may also be purchased on an “as-is where-is” basis by special request.
